Got my Zebralight SC51 today!

I noticed that Zebralight is also selling diffused SC51w. Is it the same if I stick on something like a scotch tape tape?

More or less, yeah.

I'd suggest you get some DC-fix. Phaserburn sells sheets of it over in the Marketplace.

The problem with Scotch tape is that after you've used the light it will heat up the lens and start to melt the glue on the tape. When (if) you want to take it off later, it will be a real pain. I learned through personal experience...

DC-fix won't melt like that and is far easier to remove after you've used the light enough to have heated up the lens, and it won't leave the goopy mess behind like Scotch tape will.
