Harbor Freight All purpose light

I dunno if this is fixed lighting per say, but it isn't really a flashlight either. I picked this up today in sotre for 12.99, and had hoped to run it on 1 18650 and a DX cree module, like a D26 drop in. I haven't really figured out how to disassemble the head to see if it is viable or not, but it could make a pretty cool area light for the money. Perhaps I need a better fabricator than me to see what they can come up with

looks like a good light to mod, stick a single LED in the head and either a wall wart or something of more substance than AAAs.

the quantity of shadows on your desk is directly proportional to the quantity of LEDs your using to illuminate it. I know because my room is lit by 90 3-die LEDs...I oughta know
