I have two of these big button type lights (the kind you push down on to turn the light on or off) and I'm thinking about replacing the screw in PR bulb with a Luxeon I start. The 4AA are connected directly to the bulb. Do yo guys think I'll have any heat concerns with the Luxeon I directly driven with 4AA while secured to a plastic base? If not, what kind of runtimes do you think I"ll see with them? Besides the advantages of the LED verses the old bulb, this would be good practice as this would be my first mod. I'd appreciate your help.
