I use these Hebei 100 mA warm white 5 mm LEDs for reading lights and wanted to check how much they fade over time. The pictures were taken with the current at 60 mA.

I hooked them up to 3 D cells and a resistor with initial current at 60 mA then let them run for 500 hours. At that point the current was down to about 15 mA. I did this twice. I did it this way because that's how I run the LEDs in the real world. Average current is about 38 mA.

There appears to be some slight fading but pretty minimal. I particularly like the color of these LEDs. They are very easy on the eyes with no off-colors or harshness. Smooth beam too, around 80 degrees. The main drawback is that they're not that efficient, around 30 lumens/watt at 100 mA (according to the datasheet). When run at less than 100 mA presumably the efficiency is better. They cost about $1 each.
