Help a newbie out?(maglite conversion)

Long story short I broke my Dad's Maglite. I tried to use it in lantern/candle mode and remove the front lense (kinda stupid in retrospect) So the front xenon bulb snapped right off after dropping it. Where can I buy an LED replacement and how do I go about repairing it?

I'm not very sure of things like this myself, but apparently a company named Malkoff makes LED drop-ins for Maglites.

Sounds like you just broke the glass dome portion of the bulb. You should just be able to unscrew bulb retainer and replace the bulb with a new one. If you're planing on doing a LED conversion, here's a pretty comprehensive list of drop-ins more the various maglite flashlights.
