help modding 3 mcp spot

I am looking for some help modding one the the generic 3million cp lead acid(6v) lights.
Anyone have any idea what bulbs thee things usually run. I was thinking about trying to put a drop in led from a d26 drop in through the reflector and resoldering the battery the the drop in. Not sure how to where to solder the leads to a drop in. I am assumig the red wire is positive and the switch is wired to the negative wire Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you putting the whole dropin in the reflector or just the LED?

To switch it in either case, the center button on the back of the circuit board is positive, everywhere else is negative. As far as positive or negative, it doesn't really matter where you switch it, as long as it's between the battery and the board. You can't switch between teh LED and circuit board. That will kill the board.
