HELP! Need wall wart for Vanson BC-2HU

Ok, my girlfriend's cats ate the cord on the AC/DC adapter for my Vanson battery charger. She tossed it, so I can't even measure the thing. Anyone have any idea where I can get a suitable replacement? OR...I have an XPAL 18000 that can be used as a power supply to this thing if I can figure out which tip to use. ANY help guys? Any suggestions? I am NOT about to spend $30 getting the right one at Radio Shack...dang they screw ya!


Wanted to add, if I could just find a "universal" adapter or something along those lines that fits, or even figure out what size tip for my XP 18,000 would fit it, that would be a huge help. Someone point me in the right direction please!

She thinks I have too much useless junk...and a chewed-through ac adapter (little b*****d chewed all up and down the cord so I couldn't even splice it) looks like trash to most women.

I believe it is 12 volt 1 amp with the center pin being positive and the barrel negative. The tip size looks like it is about 3/8".

That is somewhat helpful, unfortunately most places don't put dimensions on their power adapters. FRUSTRATION. I have some lights I can't use 'til the batteries are charged up.

most wall warts are center (hollow) pin positive. should try a thrift store or flea market there are always big wallwarts at those places.
