First let me say how flashlight friendly I've become due entirely to this great forum. Really enjoy all aspects of the forum, but my wallet is suffering. Oh well...
I was unable to get the new DX 3W Seoul SSC 42180 (6973) to fire until I removed a donut shaped piece of plastic/teflon between the lamp and the case/battery. It appears to have enough space in the center to allow for the positive battery connection but for whatever reason it would not work with this piece in place.
Should I just leave this piece out as it appears to work fine without? Or should I return?
Thanks.
