How do you convert a SF G2 twisty to a clickie?

This old thread details how to use a clickie from an old garrity. I don't think can still get them though. http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=30850&highlight=clickie

The surefire Z59 fits but is the same finsh as a 6P etc, not Nitrolon. Works fine but looks a bit odd. Also cost more than your G2 did.

The cheap option is a nextorch D6 clickie. It is a reverse clickie but works well on the G2 and looks okay. Heres a link with pictures of my G2 and D6 clickie fitted:

I hope this helps.

Just received my D6 tailcap from Emil today. Made I alu, it makes the G2 slightly longer by about 8mm by my measurements. As mentioned elsewhere, the pushbutton is a bit stiff, but should get better from repeated use I guess. Overall, quite satified with it. And at $4, I don't think it can be beat.

I am pretty sure the Tops Stryker tailcap (Lighthound) will fit also.

Any clicky guts you can throw in there that will fit?

I would love to have a clicky G2/G3, but with the standard nitrolon tailswitch.
