How embarrased can you be...

to not even "try" to use your light...

So last night we had a water main leaking outside one of our buildings. We notify the proper people, and they send the MP's out to give it a looksy...the cop exits his truck in typical fashion, and grabs for his light (looked like a solid silver Smith & Wesson?...I "instictively" made a note of to see what light he would have on him before he even pulled up). Before he could shine his light on the area, I had my 6Z w/ M60F in action ...holding his light to his side, he turned it on for about 1 second as he was about to put it up to his neck, and after realizing his light was "inadequate", quickly turned it off, and held it there for a few seconds, hoping I might turn mine off. He was an MP with a 9 LED S&W with a THUMB switch . I caught him looking at my SF a few times but he never did ask what it was, etc. I did have my M6 on me, but thought I'd spare him the agony...:devil:

Just thought I'd share with all the other great stories popping up here in the past few days.

kinda reminds me of what happened to myself and my boss
a while ago.
4am and one of the trucks has a flat battery, the truck is parked
in the backyard with no lighting.
I tell my boss and he brings out the jumper leads and his 6D Maglite
We walk out into the backyard and he starts waving his Mag around
like its some kind of phallic symbol
I pull out my 1D Mag P7 and he comments on how "tiny" it is
to which I reply "its not the size that counts but the punch it packs"
I then switch on my P7 Mag

Needless to say his Mag 6D immediately suffers from battery droop :devil: :nana:

LOL! I've actually got one of my co-workrs to check this place out...I'm sure once he registers, I'll be able to "spot" him...

No, no, no. You did it all wrong. You have to wait until they turn their pathetic-excuse-of-a-light on and then turn yours on. That's when the inadequacy really hits home.
