How many of you stash "Good Lights" at work?

I do. I currently have a Arc AAA DS, E1e w/SC3, and L2 in my work emergancy disaster kit. This kit receives all my old equipment like walkie talkies, lights, knives, etc. I'm constantly upgrading my gear.

What say you?

"Good lights", nah, not really. They are too tempting for sticky fingers. I do keep what could be considered "decent lights" however. In my desk draw I keep a Fenix E0 loaded with an L92, primarly as a spare cell carrier for my EDC, and a Rayovac Sportsman Extreme/Highbeam 2xAA 1watt. There is also 3 or 4 fauxtons in the desk for occasional handouts.

I have a few nice lights at work cause I might use them at work.

I have a Fenix P3D Q5, L2D R100, P1D Q5, Olight T20, and a little mini and Inova X0 if someone wants to borrow a light.

If I'm at work, so is my EDC P1D-CE Q5. I also have a $5 Garrity multiled AAA light and some coin cell keychain type lights from vendors in my drawer as loaners. My L1 and Gerber IU and spares are found in my briefcase. Lots of natural light in the office, so I don't foresee much use for them.

My belt carry work light of choice for the last year and a half has been a P3D R100. This light does everything I need in a nice unobtrusive form factor. I needed a multilevel because as well as having the bright turbo, I have to be able to drop the light levels as there are some bits of equipment I deal with that can be damaged by strong light. Before that I used the P3DCE, and before that the L2DCE. The L2D was the first good light I took to work, and while it is controllable and cheap to run, I found the form factor wrong for belt carry as it sat too high in the holster and caught my elbow, hence me settling on the P3D form factor.
A couple of months ago I bought an L1T V2 as a back up which lives in my desk drawer.

As of today I'm belt carrying a G3 with Pila 300S (17500) cells in an old Raines expanding baton holster. I have absolutely no good reason for bringing that one in, other than the fact that I've just started using Li-ion cells and wanted to road test this combo. The light is a little too bright for most of my work needs, not variable, less robust on concrete floors than an LED, and a lot bigger on the belt, but as normal work operations are suspended for a couple of months due to major building refurbishment I figured, it's play time!
I was tempted to take my Romisen RC-T5 but that's so big it would look really stupid indoors, and also difficult to carry. Maybe I'll give it a week or two and then try a 9P with a Cree drop-in. Also itching to buy a 2x18650 Leaf body and an LF E09 lamp. Now that really would be a silly indoor work light.

I'm a fireman so I often need a flashlight. The department has Streamlight SL-20's on the truck. The batteries will only hold a 10 minute charge and the higher up's won't buy new batteries. So I EDC a Surefire C2 with a DX R2 CREE drop-in on a lanyard. I stash a Streamlight ProPolymer in my turnouts. I'd be afraid to leave one of my Surefire lights in my turnout coat on my days off.

That's terrible, and possibly lethal! Is there no one else you guys can complain to? Couldn't your union get involved on the grounds that the department is in breach of it's duty of care to it's employees?

I carry a CountyComm BoB as my briefcase to work daily and anything that could be considered office-emergency is in there. I'm quite confident I could leave anything in my desk and it would be there the next day, but why leave things laying around in a desk drawer?

I have my vx-7r in there, my L2, an antenna, a keychain full of interesting utlity items (no keys though go figure) as well as a spare network cable some cds and a few screwdrivers.

I keep a Fenix E01 in my locker and I carry it in my hospital scrubs when I am working. Sometimes I will carry whatever I am EDC'ing but my scrubs only have two pockets that are not very deep so I don't want to run the risk of loss.

I was carrying my P1D to work until I realized just what a bunch of lowlifes I work with. Now I just a carry mini mag led. If there were an emergency I could still out to the truck and grab a good light.

once...that was enough, apparently someone decided to borrow an Inova XO [reflector version] and then claiming someone took it after I caught him and he couldn't find it :candle:

I figured hey, I'll have a good light on me even if the one in my cabinet/drawer was stolen or borrowed anyway:D

We've had a couple of thefts in our office in the last couple of years, although, that's not happened lately. Still, I only keep coffee mugs and the occasional cheap AA charger at my desk.

Since I'm a fire warden on my floor, I usually have a few lights that I bring with me to the office in my courier bag (SF 6PD + M60 and, usually, a Zebralight H50 or H30) and I take them home at the end of the day. Those along with my two EDC lights (Fenix P2D and my DX C3 stainless).

My EDC has proved to be quite enough until the generators come on, my EDC being a recent vintage A2 right now.

I have to ask.
Why are they low-lifes, and why would this cause you to "carry" a mini mag led?

I have an E01 in my pocket and a minimag with an LED upgrade in my laptop case.

I don't keep much at work due to sticky finger incidents in the past.

I have a regularly maintained Freeplay Jonta and EyeMax WB in my BOB. Good enough lights for bad situations.

I kept a old 6P at work with 6 extra batteries and a spare P60. I also kept my original ArcAAA. I consider those good lights but they were also locked in a metal drawer.
