I bored out a SF 6p but need help!

Hey guys I bored out a SF 6p BUt now the light is on anytime I put the battery in. The tail cap doesn't even need to be on! So how do I make the light work properly and function with the tail cap? Im using an 18650 for a battery.

Is the negative terminal of the battery exposed and resting on the inside of the body?

It should be insulated, other than where the spring of the tailcap connects to it.

That battery are you using??

You first post is incomplete. What are you using for illumination? An LED drop in, or a stock Surefire incandescent LA?

LoL! DimeRazorback you nailed it! There was a tear in the plastic wrapping on the battery and it was contacting the case. I patched it and it works perfectly now thanks!
