and I must admit it was like trying something new on the menu.....

and I liked it! I've been so spoiled EDC'ing a PD-S or a Luna20 that to deviate, I thought, might be difficult. I have to admit it was....well....refreshing. :D I can't stop playing with this light. The switch is just so....switchable. I love going through the levels, shining this light on anything and everything. The body/head design is so unique and different than any other light I have. I'm really glad I decided to hold on to this one. It's an integral part of the EDC rotation now.

Thanks Don. And would ya cut it out? Stop making so many damn nice lights. It makes my life way too difficult. :shakehead :nana:

I love my McGizmo lights!

If I take off my suit jacket at work, I would look like batman
with all the lights on my belt:eek:

Always 2 Ti's and 1 RaClicky.....LMAO

Feels good to carry it doesn't it!

I packed mine for a week without playing with any others during that time. The day I got it I opened the box, dropped in a cell, and headed off to work at the hospital with it. It was the next day when I added all the glow O-rings and the glow boot. You know, since I liked it so much and it's my first Ti McGizmo I figured why not make it special.

Now it's in the rotation and getting along very well. Why pay that much for something you are not going to use!

As much as I like the PD, I have to say the McClickies are also a lot of fun to use. They are definitely the smoothest, best action clickies that I have ever used. After using the McClickies, everything else feels cheap and ready to fall apart. I don't EDC the Haiku, but I do take it night hiking. The 3 levels are pretty much perfect, but maybe I feel like it is too long for an EDC? Or maybe I am just used to the Ti PD-S for an EDC. Anyways, the Haiku does have it's purposes, just not EDC for me.

When I joined CPF, a light like the Haiku was like something from a Sci-Fi movie. A few years later, one is sitting on my nightstand.

The progress Don has made is incredible. McGizmo lights are now pushing the frontier further with their uniqueness. The current releases are all spectacular and some are very mission specific and right on target.

A great ride it has been all those years.

The Haiku is such a fantastic light. I have been EDCing mine since it's arrival. It is the perfect EDC light as far as I am concerned. I feel so spoiled by McGizmo's! I LOVE 'em.

Hey Bernie,

Yes "A great ride it has been all those years." So many good lights from Don and the progression gets better and better. I have owned 6 or 7 of Don's creations and as they evolve with newer driver's and high output LED's the more fascinating they become with their specific attributes.

I have often thought of a catalog if you will of Don's lights from the early days of the McLux/ "Skunk Lights" to the Sundrop and Haiku to name a few.

(I hope Darell doesn't mind me borrowing his picture.)

I know we have all the FAQ'S about the lights, but I was thinking of a catalog of pictures with descriptions of the lights in their line of progression through the years of all of Don's lights. Probably a big undertaking :sssh: and just a thought.

It's kinda like cheating on your girlfriend and knowing she's cool with it, eh?
