ITP A3 is a nice little flashlight and is available in several colours ... Even available in Titanium and in Stainless , though the stainless is heavy ... They work well using rechargeable AAA Eneloop batteries.
.

The 4Sevens Preon is a perfect good-looking flashlight for her :)
The Preon 1AAA Stainless steel is absolutely beautiful. The other Preon 1AAA and 2AAA is also very good looking. I think your wife would love it:)

How long does it take to go from work to home?
The ITP & Preon 1AAA are quite small and not easy to hold for long periods.
The Preon 2AAA has a protruding soft click switch that can be easily turned on by other items in a purse. You can get the Preon 1 flat tailcap for it which turns it into a twistie. Still rather skinny for extended holds.
If your wife carries a reasonably big purse (not a clutch purse) I would suggest give up on the colours and get a Quark Mini AA2. The fatter body and 5 inch length fits the hand better yet is shorter than the 6"-7" typical of 2AA torches.

I gave my fiance my PD30 R2 (2xcr123s) & 2 spare cr123s & an E01(+lithium bat).I guess with these two she is ok.
Also gave her a diffuser for fun .
