Just got my Wolf-Eyes 6TX from PTS, and got reminded that this IS the best deal on a 2-cell light .
In my mind it blows any competion out of the water, and sheesh, I could have saved a LOT of dough if I had realized how good this little torch was earlier.....

- beam is comparable to Surefire P60
- body is chunky metal, while the price right now is below the plastic Surefire G2
- with the led tailcap you have the best of both worlds, at a cost of 5 TIMES LESS than a (admittedly regulated) Surefire A2
- it is shorter than the Surefire 6p, more like the original "6"
- can be run of rechargeables with a 3.7V globe

Wolf-Eyes/Pila are clever, their globes fit Surefire, but not the other way round, surely a way to sell more stuff...
btw, the 6TX is identical to the old Pila GL2, here's a review of the still quite similar (new body only) current GL2 by Quickbeam.

There are many threads on CPF about "the best light to keep in the car", or "what is the best long running emergency light" etc.
Well, in my mind this little 30 dollar special is IT, the LED Tailcap light can go for 60 hrs, and it makes an ideal map-reading light as well...
