JetBeam M1X: Battery extender same color as light?

Hi all

I am planning to buy a Jetbeam M1X in Army Green color. But I will be using 18650 lion batteries so I need the battery extender. This is where my question is. Will the battery also be in Army Green color when I order the M1X in Army Green?

Just send the dealer an email to clarify that they have matching stock :thumbsup:

Yeah, I have just done that. Because the dealer did not specify it. And the answer was that the extender is in the same color as the light. So M1X ordered with extender

Will you be getting the M1X v3 or the M1X v4 ?

It will be the 3. generation for sure. The 4. generation is very new. But fortunately Flavio from buyoutgearusa.com said the only difference between 3 and 4 generation is a updated driver with only a bit better runtime. The output should be same from 2., 3. and 4. generation after what I have been told.

I pulled the trigger on a M1X also and am waiting for it to ship. My first real thrower. Took along time to decide between at TK40, M30 and the M1X. Looking forward to it.

I love the Jetbeam interface, I have a nice low set in, and with a twist of the bezel I get full power :devil:

The size is very similar to the SF M4, which is probably my favorite shape/size out of my larger lights (M6 excluded :nana, and the balance in my hand is great!

It will be following me in my car everywhere I go

Still have to test out it's throwing ability :devil:

I think my Olight M30 will have to retire as my MCE light now

Yes I did get the extender. I got the "combat" variety which works really well for cigar style grip :twothumbs

The one negative thing I have to say, is that the threads on the end of the extender are a little 'thinner' and the tailcap doesn't 'grip' aswell as to the threads on the body itself.

There is no issue, but basically, the tailcap is easier to unscrew when used on the extender. This could be a problem, as you may accidentally unscrew it a little without realising (therefore no light), however if you screw it on nice and firm, it still requires a fair ammount of force to release it.

The ano match is almost spot on aswell :thumbsup:
