Just got my Eznite wow!! It even out-throws the maxabeam!

Ok it doesn't I was just kidding but man wow! What a throw for a little bugger that even fits right in my pocket.

I am also an owner of the very first mini-hid bought it here in a group buy few years ago not sure who it was that made it it could be ra but I may be wrong. I know macs mini came out much later than my version but in any event its much smaller & throws just as far to the naked eye plus it's a work of art!

I'd like to thank Litemania (Warren) for giving me the opportunity to purchase one from him after weeks of searching & emails but I finally got it.

Last night was my first night with this light so in a short while I will be trying some beamshots to post in this thread.

Btw, I have an X990 & it easily out-throws it. The 990 produces more light but it can't match the Eznite in throw.

Glad to hear that your enjoying your new light so much. Does your X990 have and OP reflector or someting? My EZnite doesn't out throw my X990 by a long shot. It still a great light for it's size though.

I have the original McCulloch X990 made back I believe was in 2001 bought it here on the forum from LarryK so not sure what it has in comparison to the newer X990's that came out years later from another company.

Mine is the Acro branded one, but I didn't know they differed that much in performance. Anyhow, it would be interesting to see some beamshots.

I had to go look that one up....didn't know what it was.

The title still freaked me out with "maxabeam" in there anyway.
