do you have still available some battery case? I am looking exactly for aluminium waterproof cover like you made. I need it for my 1k lumen LED light for which I have only fixed battery pack but I want to have option to change those batteries individually.

Not sure anyone who owns one of these is paying attention to this thread anymore but I had an idea..

I was thinking of cutting a hold in the lexan and sliding a thin 26mm UCL in front of the main module.

I think the thick lexan is robbing like 10-15+ % of OTF lumens.

I could seal it with some silicone which would be fine for rain.
I don't use mine under water ever.

I'll post back if I do in case anyone is interested

The solution could possibly be as easy as contacting flashlightlens.com. They can cut their AR acrylic lenses to whatever shape. If they can't do the thru holes, I can do them.

I heard back from Kevin and he told me there were no more Kavelights available, but he is asking someone who has one if they wanted to part with it. So, yay for me!

However, he did send me this link... it is the "new" version of the Kavelight.
