LAB scale + color?

Curious...

If you DIY made a 4-emitter light using red, yellow, blue, Green LEDs in equal amounts on the LAB scale. Would the resulting beam be white? Would it have a higher CRI than a single white LED?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that while it would look white, the spectral curve would be more like one with four spikes, rather than one approximated by a black body radiator at the same colour temperature, and thus have a potentially worse CRI.
