Leef BigLeef System C Body without C's?

So it's kind of impossible to get the AW C cells that these were designed for so is there a replacement battery that can be used with spacers or tubes? I have a great set up to for a WA1185 in three C body pieces fully assembled just waiting on power...any suggestions?

i facing the same problem with 3C FM body ....

one member suggested that he indeed use 18500 with sleeves in it, less runtime but it works.

maybe u can try that? or wait for the thrid run of AW C cells like the rest of us .....

18500's can work, but you're pushing them awfully hard in most 2x and 3x Li-ion hotwire set-ups.

Switch to a lower voltage bulb or LED assembly and use NiMH C's. You'll probably need a spacer to make up 5mm difference per cell, but at least the Malkoff M30 makes for a nice set-up with 1x, 2x or 3x NiMH cells.

Oh the headaches that could have been avoided if AW "C"s were the same length as standard C cells.
