I am looking for a tri-pod desktop lamp like this one (left in the pic):

But this one, a stanley tool tripod lamp, is not bright enuogh for me. :mecry:

Do there exist similar lamps with a much more higher output?

Hello!

Yes this one uses 5mm Led's.

The one you have linked uses 3Watt Led. But perhaps another lamp that
ist more brighter than 80lumen...?!

There are such things as AC powered multi-LED desk lamps available that would be brighter. The ones I've seen are not tripod style, just an adjustable arm.

@ neoseikan, he said LAMP, not FAN, and your pic is too big anyway (so is the fan - that wouldn't fit on his desk). Please remove it or resize it to comply with Rule 3.

That stanley is not very good. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for one. Mine broke very easily, from a ~2 foot fall onto carpet. The joby in that picture blows it away in just about every way.

Theres the Solarforce LT-1 attachment.... You need to add the tripod and host though.

Hi! Sorry. I resized the pic.
I meant to say:

I support the tripod! Look! There is a beautiful tripod sample I saw in my trip.

LOL, neo's fan would blow them both away if you turned it up high.

i remember some hardware store giving those out if you signed up for something some 1-2 years ago... dad gave it to my sister. The thing runs on button cells doesn't it? I remember it feeling rather flimsy.

Couldn't you do what some of the reviewers on CPF do, get a tripod mount for a normal flashlight, and just use a standard tripod with no extension?

stanley runs off either 3, 6 or 9 AA
Joby runs off 3AA

They used to make fenix, MTE and ultrafire lights with screw threads into the tailcap so you could attach them to a camera tripod. They don't make them that way anymore though.

No picts right now b/c I'm stuck at work but, I use a Sgt Burkett host with a small DX camera tripod for my workbench.

Will snap a pic later on if you need it. The setup works very well for my tasklighting needs & was one of the sole reasons why I purchased those hosts.

Those tripod things are nice, but they are bulky. As an EDC nut, I prefer stuff I can carry in my shirt pockets.

I have more than enough lights to carry as EDC...:poke: :grin2:

Thats not what i am looking for. :candle:

Thanks guys for the help. I already have a flexible tripod stalk, but i would
like to have a complete light. ;)

Cool! But I am talking about a flexible tool that can do what you need and still fits in the pocket.

Something like this:
