LSD cells or not for Malkoff Triple

I am currently using Tenergy 10,000mAh D's with my Malkoff Triple, 2-4D dropin, which can draw in excess of 3A's measured at the tail. Would I be better served using Accupower LSD 10,000mAh D NiMh's, or the Accupower 11,500 D's. Also, if I use the non LSD Accupower D's will there be significant self discharge of the cells, and what would that discharge rate be after the initial drop off after charging. I know that the higher capacity of the 11,500's would be a bonus over the 10,000mAh LSD's.

Re-phrasing, are the Accupower LSD D cells good for holding voltage at a 3+ amp draw? What is the approximate daily self discharge rate for non LSD D NiMh cells?
