M6 battery magazine dead cells

I have two extra MB20 battery magazines which I have typically stored full with cells.

Last night, I used up my M6-R pack, and slapped one of my magazines in it only to find the cells dead.

I have done this in the past with no problems, but these cells have been in the magazine for the better part of a year, the longest I have ever not had to use them.

Has anyone else run into this?

Bill, I run my pack on one M6 and the other with an MB20. The other MB20 has been on standby for about 3 months and I just tried it and it's ok. The Sanyo batteries still test 100% and the open voltage is around 3.23 per cell. Wow, that's odd!!
