im reader of cfp long time from ago, but never need to regrister, maybee cause my poor english - i decide to not post od cfp
Now i need few adivces in make 3d mag mod. Allready readed few times lots of mag mod posts, but still have many doubts...
i have modded little 3aaa flashlight builded from begining with cree driven direct drive about of 1a on start and stady on 0,7-0,8a. uses ims20 reflector, you can see numbers and photos here:

Using this flashlight my apetite grow larger and my orginal mag3d led is not enough, and want to build (have builder who make me it) 3 or 4 cree/ssc mag 3d mod, but i cant afford for circuit board like flupic or shark, wondering about direct drive this leds. but only power suply for me will be 3 D cells 1,5v each (4,5v for 3pcs), canot afford for 8aa->3d holder too.. So want to build it whole, but it must be *** lowest as it can be in price... getting all stuff from outside of poland will cost lots of
please advice me is there in dx or kai's stock any cheap board that will be good to drive thoes leds at 0,8-1a (will be well heated with selfmade heatsink) ? If not, what ampers i get in DD from 4,5v in 3 or 4 crees/ssc ? how will drop the amount of ampers and amount light in DD ? (i mean runtime to 50% on set of 3 D's cells)
I want to use IMS20 reflectors (they avaiable in poland), is 4 of it fit in mag 3D head without any changes? please advice me what to choose? ssc or cree ? i need throw with good hotspot,a and side spill too - not flood light, in buy i think about q2 bin of cree - thers on sale for good price and briight enough, in q5 im worry about tint (not know i use good word) mean color i dont want blue or green - need pure wite "tint" , so is the new q5 realy wite?
