Ok so I removed the Mag tower to install the KIU kit. I'm going to be doing a mag 623, and I'm worried about the resistance and current through the switch. What modes should I do to it. I'm going to be pushing 10-11 amps.

Also I'm worried about the little spring for the + at the top of the mag tower. Will that take 10-11 amps?

Thanks!

I saw that thread, but I'm cutting off the tower part, so not much of the modding applies to me. I need to mod the switch not the tower...

Screw the mag 623... I'm not ready to do a major switch / tower mod. I think I'll just use an Osram 35W 12v bulb and use the stock switch.

Well Installed the KIU socket and the 35W 12v Osram bulb and it doesn't work! Did I do something wrong with the soldering? I followed the instructions although they were not very clear. I soldered a wire to the back of the mag switch (the part with the little bolt) and then soldered another wire from the bi-pin socket to another connection on the top part of the switch. No go. Whats going on, did I solder the right part?

Since none of us posses a telekeextrasensorymultimeter, you know more than we do, use a regular multi-meter to diagnose where the problem is.
Sorry,
Eric
