I'd like to see a thread regarding this light. I guess the old thread broke some rules (I'm never sure what the rules are). I don't think this one does however.

If someone is able to dive with one feel free to review it here. I'm curious about the glass thickness and runtime. I'm guessing it will be 2 hours or so and the glass thickness is probably 2.5 mm just like the "ugly light".

The bezel design for this one appeals to me. I guess other than how well it's put together I'm curious as to the beam width as opposed to the MC-E 'ugly light".

All feedback on this light is welcome.

i wasn't sure how it was an advertisment. It had a link to the light. What eles?

And i expect next we will be getting a bollocking for not keeping it on topic!!

It's common kwoledge that the CPF is actually run as a business and not really as a service for like minded people to share information and be creative:whistle:

Anyway to keep the Mod squad away here is a nice picture taken by Olle of the DX light vs On the right a Kowalski 1250 Speed on full power for comparison.

This is not what i expected, since the Kowa 1250 uses an Osram HLX 12V 50W, which produces 1600 Lumen.

Are trying to reel us in with this pic?

any info on these yet re the bezel - hopefully a bit more substantial than the other MS P9 light - I got one from DX and it leaked at about 40m :( after 30 divers or so

I tighten mine everytime I go down to 10+ meters (32 feet) to about 30+ meters (100+ feet) and it hasn't leaked yet (knock on wood). The very first time I had to tighten it quite a bit (about a couple or so turns), but ever since, it's been tight.

Are you able to get it working again?

My experience with Magicshine is all bad, pporly made chinese products with no engineering experience. Thomas Tilly from Tilly tec bought 100 as promotion and had to repair 60% before he could get them out the door.

You get what you pay for, and i donth think you can expect a dive rite or salvo slayer for the price of theses and there are many many people that have had no problems at all.
