Does anyone offer a "stippled" or "orange peel" reflector for the C/D Maglite? I'm looking for a softer, wider beam spread with the Terralux LED conversion.

check the CPFS custom and Mod B/S/T there are many who sell it. But no plastics.

Another option that you may want to consider is a lens replacement with an LDF coating.

Marduke:

Thanks, that looks like what I want. Stipple is a bit on the heavy side but it should work.

Thanks all for the info.

If you order one, then get some clear Krylon and try stipling yourself. Go easy at first and you will see that you will get incredible spill, then just start adding layers to smooth things out and you will get to your "perfect" level you are looking for and you will have the experience and confidence to do this yourself.

You can do it! Just take your time.

If you want to try stippling/sputtering yourself, look HERE for a post by Nikon.

I've done this myself with great results. Patience is required, take your time.
