Does anyone have beam shot pics of Malkoff M60LLF in a 9P or a clone?
I searched the whole forum many times over with no results.

I am trying to decide between M60LL and M60LLF.

Here is an old article that sheds some lite on the matter:

My calculations tell me that a 25 degree angle flood lamp at 2 feet away the beam is already 10.1 inches wide, at 6 feet away its 30.4 inches wide, at 10 feet away the beam is 4.2 feet wide. At 20 feet away its 8.5 feet wide, at 50 feet away the beam is 21.1 feet wide give or take for the penumbra of the beam edge. That makes for a great flood indeed.
....

The problem is, with M60LL being that low, will the flood effect make it appear even less bright.

I don't intend to use it for throw, I already have M60 and variants for that, but as a TSHTF lite with a very long runtime, probably for indoor activities.

Remember the old Nite-Ize drop-in module for Mini-Mag? Its 3x5mm module that's all flood, no throw. I kind of liked it for reading. In fact, it was the best reading lite I had until I gave it away.
Is that what M60LLF would look like, except even greater runtime?

I have the Malkoff M60LLF and had member Jaudice come over and he showed me his M60LL. To my eyes the M60LLF seems brighter because you get all those 80 lumens spread out evenly over a bigger area. Today, I am mailing it to another member because I like the P90 better for my G2 and P91 for Solarforce 2 18650 hosts. The super long runtimes make it good for an emergency light and for a glove box light. I never used it becuase it served as Glove box duty in a yellow G2.

+1 go for the M60LLF. The non flood with such low lumens seams less practical for in the house or while working on my Jeep late at night.
