I agree. But this is cool. If it was anodized so hi/lo would work I'd like to try one out.

" what about a simple "hex ring"." The 6P anti roll ring at the bottom is nice and lessens the bulk of having the whole head that shape. Even a rubber one would work that could be slid on and off as desired. Obviously a clip stops them from rolling, which I have on my lights I carry to work. I do like the tri cap on some lights, especially the MD4s.
