:thumbsup:The sun is slowly setting here so I took wall beamshots of the lights for those that prefer them to practical beamshots. Distance to wall is approx. 4 feet.
Give me about an hour for outside pictures..

Gene, if you are reading this, I sent you an email.

will the malkof drop in fit in a surefire G2?

Edit: Nevermind, I just checked out malkoff website and it will fit. This light is extremely bright. 021411, how is the runtime? Does it retain maximum brightness for 2 hours and then deminish( as advertised)?

Here they are.. I did the best I could around the house. Tried to get throw as well as close quarters. The Malkoff has a tighter hotspot but it's very nice. I love it. The tint is nice too. I guess I could describe it as cool. That's it for now. I hope this helps those who are wondering about the drop-in from Gene. Worth the money IMO.

The throw.. Not at spotting distance though. This is probably around 40-45 feet.

Nice shots! The Malkoff has a nice, defined spot compared to the WE D26 HO I think because the Malkoff has a smooth reflector while the WE has an orange peel type. The Malkoff beam is definitely better.

Thanks! Definitely has a nice defined spot. I love it. All the lights have their place in the world...

Ace12, I have not done a runtime test on the lamp. I won't have time the next few days to baby sit the light. When I do I'll post up..

Nice comparisons. The WE seems to have more throw. I still love mine.

I just got a Malkoff P60 and it's great! :) I put mine in my Surefire G2 and now I have a nice rugged light with a lot of out put and long run times on a pair of 123's.

Just picked up my Malkoff P60 at the post office thirty minutes ago.

So far, I've compared the Malkoff P60 side-by-side with another Surefire containing the OEM P61-(120 lumen) lamp assembly. I'm going to take both on our opening day goose hunt this weekend and test them in the pre-dawn darkness as we set out our decoys.

This is my second purchase from Gene; just bought his Mag Lite drop in a couple weeks ago.

I must say, Gene is great to deal with and his products are first rate.
