Carrying the md2/m61t hi/low for now. There are brighter lights but it gets the job done and you know it's very unlikely to fail. 18650 in it and I carry 123's as backups in case I need to keep it going for a while.

Beautiful. I'm not big on having 1000+ lumens. I'd rather have a nice balance between runtime and output. Most of the time I use low and it's more than enough. I have the M61N 400 lumen in my MD2 with high/low and it's perfect

For a tactical light I do like to have staggering output just in case (around 800 lumens or more). Not necessarily for blinding but so you can see everything around you with clarity and fast identification, but you can certainly get by with less. I don't feel undergunned with an m61 or m61t, they punch above their output on paper. The 61t has a great balance of runtime and brightness with 18650, and if you use two 123's it has a nice boost in output but still good runtime for cr123 standards.

I would like to try that M91T head one of these days. I had the E1HT MDC head and that little guy threw one hell of a beam. I could only imagine the bigger ones

It's such a nice drop in. 80 lumens is plenty of useable output for general use while the warm temp is easy on the eyes in the early mornings. May try this in the MD2 with high/low switch

Definitely would be cool

I wish there was an E series MD lineup. Basically the md2 but scaled down into a smaller size. I also would like to see the SST20 3000k put into an MDC head and have 2 stage MDC heads VS the 3 mode

Bring back knurling as well on all lights including MDC

Left (personal security light): Malkoff E2HT head on Lumens Factory E1 Classic Gen 1, 1-cell Body with E2T Tailcap. Powered with a 18350 flat top.

Right (general utility light): Malkoff MDC 1CR123 Unshrouded Body with Lumens Factory E Series Tactician Style 3 Mode Triple Head Unit (2.7V-4.5V), Nichia 319B neutral 80 CRI. I power mine with a 16340 flat top, but runs just as well with a CR123 primary.

I EDC both lights.
