Do you think that the stated runtime from manufacturers bulbs such as lumens factory bulbs are sufficient or safe enough to prevent damage of over discharging rcr123a's when fully charged. Im looking for a way to prevent over discharging, or any kind of rule of thumb to keep this from happening. I havent used unprotected batteries much yet, but I understand that once the light starts dimming, it could already be damaging the battery. This would be in a surefire that I'm concerned about. Appreciate any thoughts.
