McR-19XR reflector

Does anyone knows how long does it take for these reflectors to get oxidized? Is the reflective surface protected with some sort of element?

Such a reflector is protected against the elements via a clever designed light incorporating a front glass, o-Rings, a head tube and a 2nd o-ring where the head part matches the flashlight body
