I went for fishing last night. I had enough time so i decided to take a bath with a mask and a flashlight to see how it was.
I took the MG RX-1. No mod for waterproofing, just stock, as it is.I only tightened all the threads, to be sure.
I didn't went more than 3m depth, but mostly flashlight was at about 1m.I was in the water for over an hour,clicking also on and off the switch.
I got out of the water and checked everything. The flashlight was fine. No sign of water in it.
I am really happy with that, i didn't expect such a good result. I will use it for sure again.
What do you think guys, should we open a waterproofness thread, posting our experiences with flashlights?This will happen in order to make a database to show everyone some real life test data.
