My E1B got washed and dried!

After spending about an hour tearing apart the house looking for my edc Surefire E1B I had given up thinking that it would hopefully surface sooner or later. I had checked all over the floor, behind my desk, bed, furniture, you name it. Well fast forward to me taking a pair of jeans out of the dryer and I noticed a familiar shape in the pocket.

Yup, it was there. I took it out and gave it a quick once over. I opened it up and the inside of the body and bezel were bone dry with no signs of moisture. I took a deep breath pressed the switch and it worked in both high and low!

Now thats quality...

Had you used bleach in the wash it would be a silver E1B by now.

I once did the same to a McGizmo Aluminum PD. Fortunately, I had the same results as you!

I learned that same SF quality lesson a few years ago when my beloved green L1 was washed AND dried! That made quite an impression.
