Need a battery tester

I'd like to find a battery tester that I can used to check AW IMR16340 cells while charging to ensure they do not overcharge. Can someone recommend me a good battery tester that will work with these cells and a source to buy it from? I'm new to rechargables and I want to do this right. Thanks!

If I understand you correctly, you want to monitor the battery voltage while it is charging. If that is the case, a standard multimeter would do the trick.

Right, I just want to pull the battery occasionally while charging to make sure it doesn't get higher than 4.2 - which I've read is bad.

Could you give me a link to a "standard multimeter"?

I think it might be easier to connect a multimeter to the battery while it is being charged and monitor the voltage, rather than interrupting the charge cycle to check battery voltage.

What charger are you using to charge your AW IMR16340 cells?
