Hey all, I am looking for a light that uses two AAA's.

I want it to be between 40 and 60 lums.

Any help is appreciated.

Streamlight Stylus Pro, I believe meets that requirement.

With a small spacer or a stretched spring you can put a Leatherman Serac S1 and S2 together to have a 2-cell S2.

Peak's Fujiyama is that form factor, but not as bright as you ask. Maybe the Pacific comes in 2xAAA.

I'm pretty sure that the Streamlight Stylus Pro (one of my favorite lights) puts out just a bit over 20 lumens. However, I've found it to be the perfect pocket pen light for quick checks behind equipment racks, etc, especially because of the somewhat stiff momentary clicky switch. A beautiful beam and just the right amount of light for those quick close up to medium distance tasks.

sweetlight, maybe if you tells us your intended use for the light we can suggest something equally suitable, as there really aren't all that many 2xAAA lights that fit your specifications (at least that I know of).

If you could get by with a 1xAAA light, I'd recommend the just released Fenix LD01:

I just got a Peak 2 x AAA light that fits your description. It is the Baltic, in the Ultra Power. The Super Ultra Power (dumb names, I know - cause they're not that bright) is 60+ lumens. They may honor their 1/2 price on Luxeon lights, but sale technically ended on the 1st.

The comparable Pacific has a larger head with a reflector designed to provide a wider spill, but also a smaller, more intense hotspot for more throw.

Although not meeting your criteria, I just purchased a 2 x AAA Romisen from DX and man, what an impressive little light. Around 120 lumens with decent throw out to 50 yards.

Although a Fenix L0D is perhaps my most used light since it is on my keychain, I generally steer people away from AAA lights, especially ones which use multiple AAA's because a single AA battery holds much more energy than 2 AAA's.

You might want to consider any of the single AA Fenix lights and will find that these will outperform the 2xAAA light you have in mind.

Streamlight Stylus Pro is my favorite light in AAA, it might be my favorite overall.
