I have been searching for the perfect MR16 LED replacement for my 50watt halogens. however I am having trouble locating the ideal specs.
what I need is a 3200K to 3700k LED + optic combo that will give me a really soft spill/hotspot. I need them in both 60 degree beam angle and 45 degrees. It can be reflector or optics based light modifiers.
CREE would be the preferrable LED of choice. would you guys recommend XPG, XRE, or MCE if I want to stay within a budget of $15 per MR16 replacement? i am also open to other manufacturer options as well.
a total of 6 watt nominal power consumption would be ideal.
If anyone has run across a similar setup, or knows where i can source some parts for it. Please let me know. thanks a lot!
As for the driver and heatsink, I can jerry rig that to make it work so nothing specific there.
