My Car's stereo receivers back light went out. I decided to try and fix it rather then trashing it.

This is the light source(two yellow diodes), I don't even know if its even LED. What are they?

This is the back of the board(two 5.1), It actually sits a bit lower then the two yellow lights. Might not even be related.

If any one can help me find these light sources I would really appreciated

The "yellow" things are white surface mount LEDs. They look yellow when off due to the phosphor coating. Can't help much on exact replacement part. It would seem odd that both LEDs would just go bad.

You should hook the stereo up and check voltages to the LEDs. I haven't monkeyed with car stereos for years, but they used to control the lights through a separate dashboard dimmer control through a separate power supply line. If so, be sure that circuit is getting power (usually an orange wire to the unit in after market stereos).
