Need Some Nano Comparison Lights

Streamlight Nano

My nano came unscrewed and I lost the bulb part of the light. I really like this light becuase it put out 10 Lumens and eas extremely small. But I dont think the tristy feature is a secure method on a keychain light. So is there something out there just as small and bright???

Sorry you lost your Nano, it's one of my favorites. You have to get another one. I just love pulling it out when it's brighter than a Maglight.

I have two or three SL Nanos, but never carry them on a keychain or anywhere loose. Its biggest flaw is the loose twisty connection. If one came loose for the OP, another one will again. All of mine are loose as well, if SL can make it a little more firm like my Arc or Fenix E01, then it would become a perfect keychain light. Until then, no thanks.

So my nano light broke and I need to get a replacement. I was considering a Drake and Wee but not sure how it compares to the Nano in size?

Can someone please post side by side pics of the nano vs wee and drake?? Thanks!

I already posted a link to another thread with pics in your other Streamlight Nano thread. If you had bothered to look in the threads I linked you would have seen there is a pic with a Nano and a Wee side-by-side. :shrug:

I would advise you to get another nano. I just love that they are as bright as a Maglight, only 1/1000 the size.

Drake Durability?

I was thinking of getting a drake for my keychain but I am a little hesitant becuase it's pretty expensive and I am pretty rough with my keychain, throwing it on the desk etc. I wanted to know how durable your Drake is and what version you have, the Titanium or Chrome?? has it taken the abuse on your keychain everyday and if so how long have you carried it on keychain? Would you not reccomend it for a keychain with keys and other junk that gets carried all day?

Ok, my first point in linking to your other Nano thread is that this current thread is only marginally different from that other one (in the other thread you are asking for possible replacements for your Nano, in this thread you are asking about the Drake and Wee as possible replacements for your Nano) so I think you might possibly be running afoul of the CPF rule regarding double posting. Of course, that is really all up to the moderators to decide if the two threads are sufficiently similar to be considered a double post.

Secondly, your first post here in this thread is ambiguous regarding your request for a pic. You state:

Which IMHO does not necessarily imply that you want to "see all 3 side by side". It could be interpreted to mean you want a pic of the Nano vs Wee and a pic of the Nano vs Drake. I am sorry if I misinterpreted your request and pointed you to a pic which failed to fulfill your requirements. Sadly, I am not a mind reader and failed to correctly interpret "nano vs wee and drake" as "I am asking to see all 3 side by side". :shrug:

That's why I stopped carrying my Keymate. I really liked it, but I got tired of buying new batteries all the time because it would turn itself on in my pocket. I suppose I could have clipped it to one of my belt loops, but I wasn't ready to come out of the closet as a flashaholic then. Now I carry my G2 in its own BBC holster right out on my belt for everyone to see. Strangely enough, not one person has every commented on it being there. I guess they figure since I'm such a geek it must just be one of my geek toys. :twothumbs

deranged_coder is correct. It was unnecessary for you to start a second thread about this - you should have continued with the first one - and I think you might have been a little more polite to him when he pointed that out.

I'm merging the 2 threads, and it will be up to you to sort out the confusion you have yourself created.
