First of all let me profess my ignorance.
That being said I am building a green laser to be mounted on the side of an ar-15. I have store bought one that I want to use as a platform so that i retain it's sighting abilities (Zeroing). The problem is, the new module uses power like it is going out of style. A CR123 is lasting about 30-45 seconds of go-baby-go before noticeable drop off. Anyone have ideas? I was thinking about having an extension tube machined so that i could drop in a rechargeable.
The module can run from 3.0V to 5.0V
Any help is appreciated.
