New novatac 120p locator flash quirk.

I sent in my old 120P for replacement because it was having a lot of software issues and now with the new one I've noticed something different. It may or may not have been changed but the replacement has a much more noticeable locator flash.

It's bright enough now that on my night stand, I can see about 15ft to the other side everytime it flashes. Also, rather than the 3 seconds stated in the manual, it's now flashing every 2 seconds.

Compared to my hds edc b42 now, the flashing is much more frequent an a good 3-4 levels brighter.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Sounds like you are using emergency strobe (different than disorienting strobe) rather than locator flash, locator flash is the third one in the options menu, emergency strobe is the first one.

I'm pretty sure it's not because I used option 3 in the menu. Plus, the emergency strobe is a LOT brighter and turns off when you click the button. And the interval is definitely not 1 second.
