I am interested in the new Pila G2 with Cree LED lamp module. I like the fact that it can use ONE Pila 18650 (might have gotten the number wrong) 3.7 volt 2200 ma battery. I want a high quality light that can use a powerful lithium Ion rechargeable battery and this seems like the one.
What I am interested in knowing is if the new CREE LED lamp module is regulated for when only 1 Lithium rechargeable battery is used at 3.7 volts. I have seen a review in which a 3W Luxion LED module was used and it did not have good regulation while using the 1 Lithium Ion Rechargeable battery (it did have regulation when using 2 CR123 primary batteries). Does the new CREE LED module addressed this issue – is there a version that is made specifically for when using 1 Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery?
