I was offered a good deal on a NiteRider 16 LED taillight so bought it. Ad said it was compatible with any Niterider headlight with a Surlock plug and will run on either their 6 volt or 13.2 volt systems. I have not received it yet but I am running a 14.8 volt Li-ion battery pact through a bFlex to a three Q5 Cree headlamp I made up. I also have a 7.4 volt Li-ion battery pack available as well. What are my options to run the new Niterider from either batter pack (preferably from the 7.4 pack)? What do I need to purchase to make it work?
I suppose I could just run it from 4 AA batteries as a alternate solution.
