I recently got the oracle 35w flashlight and got it shipped to south africa.

Problem 1:
Charged battery, used the flashlight, one week later not working. Tried charging but nothing. Sent it back and received a new battery.

Problem 2:
Received the new battery.
Again charged the battery, switched on the flashlight and working fine. Tried it again and looked like the bulb went. Tried switching it on again and nothing.
Took out the battery and the blue and green lights at the back stay on. Nothing happens when I switch it on. LED's in the front work. It will probably just stay like that till the battery runs down.
I took a photo but cant add it here?!

Is it possible that the flashlight itself is causing the short circuit? Because 2 batteries just go so quickly?

How do you open the flashlight to change the bulb :duh2: I cant get it open.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated

Sorry that you're having difficulties.

I wish I could help but I don't own one of these and stopped recommending the Oracle after the sheer number of battery problems that these lights were being shipped with. Given the number of known battery issues, CPF members have even asked AAC, the retailer, to test the battery and light before shipping but still had dead lights shipped to them. My only guess is that AAC didn't bother to do the small favor that they were asked to do. In any case, I doubt that it's a bulb problem and suspect that it's still a problem caused by the battery. At this point, all that really matters is doing what the retailer asked you to do. If they want to ship you a 3rd battery, let them ship it. If they want you to send the light back then send it back. Yes, it's all a big pain in the neck but you're sort of stuck as this point following procedure.
