p3d cree q5 tint

how has the tint been running on the fenix p3d q5's ?

are they all pretty good or will you get some that have that sickly green or other oddball color tint to them?

i got a p3d premium q5 comming and i cant wait i just hope the luxeon lottery is good too me.

Mine just showed up today and the tint is bluer than I expected but still very good. I honestly don't see a tint difference between it and my 2 P4 lights. I is a darn nice light and it is very bright. The beam is also wide enough that it is nice in a room

I got a p2d cree the other day that was awful.

Very dark rings with some areas that looked white and others yellow.

Very disappointed; I am sending it back. My P2d CE P4 and RB100 were much better, even if not as bright.

I bought 4 (four) P2Ds and 3 P1Ds, all Q5s, from Fenix-store last month, and all 7 lights were absolutely wonderful in tint and output. I would say all were WD tint, a creamy white. I would've kept them if they were R4 binned.

The P1D Q5 and P3D Q5 that I received are both smooth white. I can't detect any blue in mine. My 120T appears very slightly green compared to the two Fenix lights.

You're so lucky!! I love L.E.D.'s with a blue tint!!
