have you found any limitations that it cannot do other than the features specifically designed for a desktop?

Lots, it sucks at flying for example. 
I use it mainly for reading and internetbrowsing, and so far I have been able to do/see anything I wanted, so no, I haven't had issues yet, although I'm sure you can find them.
