I just put an MC123 extender on my Sure-Fire C3 so I can run a couple of 17670's and a P91. (works great btw, no double clicking like with the 17500's).

Now I'm trying to figure out what holster to buy. The longest holsters I have are intended for three cell lights.

Help me out dudes! :)

Well, if you get a turbohead u can do this

If not i would get a holster that can fit the width of the body and cut out the bottom and use the pocket clip to clip onto the holster. But its not totally secure and I used to have a C3 that keeps breaking the pocket clips.

Hmm... yea, I kinda like the pocketclip on this one, it's an old model, much sturdier pocketclip than the current ones, but I don't wanna break it either.

I don't plan on going turbohead, don't have the lamps or the turbohead, but thanks for the suggestion. I'm running a P91 on two 17670's.

I was hoping for some type of belt holster, but I will probably just have to find some kind of long zippered pouch so I at least have something to carry it around in.

I can second the nomination for the Maxpedition.

Got mine from John at Battery Junction - they are also great for overseas shipping.

Also, the Universal Baton sheath fits nicely onto my Maxpedition Fatboy Jumbo :).

This is a great bag for Flashaholics.

How well can you sit down with them on? I worry about getting in and out of a car and stuff like that.

I have found that the answer to that question is not so much a function of the holster itself (although still important), but rather the length of what you have dangling from it...

It starts to get a bit tricky with my extended M3T with SW02 tailcap, though. I would have thought that an extended C3 mightn't be too much of a problem.

Unfortunately, you won't really know the answer until you try it for yourself though, as comfort is a very subjective thing.

I know guys that are comfortable carrying entire hardware stores on their belts, whilst others find wearing a belt alone to be too restrictive.

I think you're going to find that it is going to be a "suck it and see" proposition...

I have the same setup and am curious what suggestions are made here. I end up slipping it into the hammer-pocket of carpenter jeans, or using the clip. I gave up the dream of a holster long ago!
