Question about D10 brightness with different batteries

Gents,

I have a Nitecore D10 GDP and have used it with alkalines and now eneloops, is the light brighter with 14500's? what about the run time? any opinions on whether it is worth it to spend the dough on 14500 rechargeables and a charger?

i have a q5 version, and it is brighter on 14500, but not by much, slight difference. Hope that helps.
