Question about ultrafire c5

ultrafire c5 works on 2xAA 1.2v nimh AA batteries ? answer only if you have tested before, because my c5 give less than 20% light on 2xAA 1.2 nimh batteries

i am asking because my batteries are low capacity (500-800ma), i dont know if voltage or amperage is the problem

I would say the C5 puts out about 80% when ran on 2x AA Eneloop as compared to 100% when using AA primaries.

I must say I am not too impressed with it myself. But the 123 part makes a useful back up light.
